In 2024, we proudly showcased our groundbreaking products at AWE 2024 in Long Beach, California, as well as at the CHURCH TECH EXPO and EXPO CATÓLICA in São Paulo, Brazil. Our team unveiled a suite of innovative museum solutions, including REALITY ROOM, REALITY TV, REALITY TABLET, and REALITY VIEWER, alongside our original immersive content, efficiently crafted with the assistance of artificial intelligence.

DANILO MOURA | CEO & Founder
Founded Simulated Reality in 2018 after 10 years as COO for LOOT, a game development company that germinated inside SONY PICTURES STUDIOS, in Culver City, California. Danilo has creative and technical director credits in more than thirty top-selling interactive products. Born in Brazil, Danilo was imported to the USA in 2007 by SONY as Senior R&D engineer, working on innovative products to promote COLUMBIA PICTURES movies on PLAYSTATION. Passionate for innovation, Danilo has international experience on building ENGINEERING and CREATIVE teams - in both corporate and start-up environments. 

Danilo’s contributions have led to multiple patent applications, successful interactive products and awards. Career highlights include being nominated for the 2017 EMMY AWARDS – With the VR project “Buzz Aldrin Pathways to Mars”, which won 2 Webby Awards. “7 Miracles” VR movie, which was awarded the "Best VR Film Of The Festival" at the 2018 RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL in London, UK. “King Tut VR” was awarded Best Location Based Experience by the ADVANCED IMAGING SOCIETY in 2019. Danilo has presented at GDC, Cannes Film Festival in France and frequently speaks at The American Pavilion in Cannes, Digital Hollywood, The Infinity Festival - Hollywood, The Advanced Imaging Society, and provides frequent consulting and development services companies like SONY, HTC, PENUMBRA & .

ANDREW HUERTAS | Chief Technology Officer
Full-stack developer with proven experience on building highly complex interactive platforms from the ground up. Technology experience includes released VR & AR products using volumetric video, voice navigation, hand tracking, with advanced client-server architecture expertise. At LOOT, Andrew was a gameplay programmer and lead porting engineer for games across PlayStation, XBOX, PSVR, VIVE FOCUS, PC and mobile Ported Unity games such as Q*bert Rebooted, JumpJet Rex, and Electronic Super Joy to PS4, Xbox One, and NVIDIA Shield (Android TV). Integrated Xbox Live, PSN, and Google Play Games APIs to add leaderboards and achievements to ported games. Implemented traditional and motion controls for Gear VR, Cardboard, Oculus, and Vive. Integrated AVPro, Exoplayer, and Directshow video players to Unity for a VR home theater project. Implemented GUIs for media player and menus. Used a JavaScript framework for PS4 and PS3 to develop Redbull TV. Used LUA to program the Save Data system, monetization system, GUI, and effects for a Roblox game.
WILLIAM HERRERA | Consulting CTO
Worked 6 years at SONY PICTURES and collaborated in multiple game and movie projects. Owns indie work for hire studio REALM GAMES. Experienced client-server engineer with demonstrated history of working in complex security, compliance and multiplayer projects for the computer games industry. Skilled in Mobile Applications, Sound, VOD, and MPEG Standards. Strong engineering professional with a Bachelor of Arts focused in Computer Systems from California State University San Bernardino. 
CHRISTIAN LAURSEN | Chief Creative Officer
Christian is a Director/Writer/Game Designer and Veteran Artist in the entertainment industry, having worked on more then 20 Games and 2 Feature Films. Christian started out as lead artist on top selling games like Disney's Aladdin and Jungle Book, 7 Up's Cool Spot. Later he founded SCAVENGER which grew into a powerhouse game studio with world top talent across offices in London, Liverpool, New York and Los Angeles. Christian has been instrumental for the team award-winning projects since 2008, having worked at SONY PICTURES, LOOT, PANOGRAMMA, EXPERIUS and SIMULATED REALITY. Owns Embrace Films. 
DANIEL LINS | Sr.  Project Manager
Highly creative, people-oriented professional with 25+ years of media and entertainment industry experience and wide recognition as an Entrepreneur, Media Production Director, and Project Manager, Daniel brings a seamless vision of both managerial and technical sides of an organization. As a former Executive Director of a multiple Cannes Lions awarded Film and Commercial Production company worked alongside global agencies such as Ogilvy, McCann, Saatchi & Saatchi and Dentsu Aegis.
FELIPE ELIASQUEVICI |
Sr. Software Engineer
Felipe worked at LOOT INTERACTIVE, in the summer of 2016, as an intern, while doing an Exchange Program at University of California Santa Cruz. BBA in  Computer Science in Brazil and since 2017 has been collaborating with Danilo on the Digital Museum framework for iOS, Android and VR. While at Simulated Reality, Felipe has been instrumental on developing games and fundamental modules for SIXENSE CONNECT & REAL I-SERIES platform modules.
MATTHEW COOPER | Tools & Middleware Lead
Since early days of LOOT at SONY PICTURES, Matt was instrumental on automated digital asset management and video compression workflow. Created tools and middleware to expedite volumetric and 360 video post-production of 7 Miracles for HTC Vive Studios. At HTQ he led and instructed a team of Compliance Quality Assurance (CQA) Specialists. 
BRUNO VOLPE | Software Engineer - Frontend
Worked with Felipe while doing an Exchange Program at University of California Santa Cruz. BBA in  Computer Science in Brazil. At Simulated Reality, Volpe reports to Andrew and develops frontend modules for RED5, Sixense Connect, Webgl and analytics modules for the system panel control and dashboard for SIXENSE CONNECT & REAL I-SERIES platforms.
PEDRO REICHOW | Sr. Backend Engineer
With a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Pedro is experienced in developing software and electronic products. Problem solver and business-oriented developer, his professional purpose is to work on game-changing projects and transform lives with technology. At the same time using mostly Python and Javascript-based frameworks to build integrated systems and Data Science workloads, at Simulated Reality, he uses AJAX, JavaScript, and Node.js to code software solutions for VR training, gaming, health, and well-being.
BRUNO COSTA | Chief Backend Engineer
Worked with Felipe while doing an Exchange Program at University of California Santa Cruz. BBA in Electrical Engineering in Brazil. At Simulated Reality, Costa reports to William and develops back office and analytics modules for the system panel control and dashboard for SIXENSE CONNECT & REAL I-SERIES platforms.
LUCAS GUIMARÃES | Sr. Backend Engineer
With a computer and electrical engineering background, Lucas is able to leverage Python, SQL, and other cutting-edge development tools aimed at creating clean and efficient code for front-end and back-end systems. Expert at creating new user-facing experiences, web applications, and back-end services using different technologies, he brings not only solid engaging, and collaborative skills but also massive JavaScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku, and VR knowledge to the backend team at Simulated Reality.
LEVI NAKAYAMA | Sr. Backend Engineer
Levi is a full-stack developer with more than 10 years of experience across multiple technology companies. Thriving in constant learning and with a passion for gadgets in general, he’s a born geek who likes to watch content to learn new things. Passionate about innovation and technology, he found Simulated Reality a perfect workplace to develop VR cutting-edge applications. His programming skills include PostgreSQL, Node.js, JavaScript, and React.js.
DANIEL MARTINS | Sr. Artist / REALITY VIEWER™
Daniel is an Art Director / Designer and artist with over 20 years experience in the advertising and publishing market. During his career, he created advertising campaigns, visual identities, magazines and business reports for clients such as B2W - Submarino, Editora 3, Estora Enzo, Landscape, TIM Brasil, Grupo Redes and FIEPA. He worked in creative agencies in the axis Belém, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, among them, Transformation Agency Martin Luz, B2W - Digital and DC3. Daniel is experienced n Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, illustrator, indDesign and After effects.
STEVE SIEGEL | Board Advisor / REALITY VIEWER™
Built multi-million dollar promotional and advertising campaigns while working in brand management at the Clorox Company. Two decades of experience creating, writing, and implementing multi-media campaigns launching and promoting entertainment products, including television shows for CBS and Paramount Studios, and the largest promotion in the history of Las Vegas gaming. Additional experience in operations, manufacturing, and export. Graduate of the University of California at Berkeley School of Business Administration.
