SIMULATED REALITY is a contractor for PENUMBRA, Inc., developing platforms and apps for the REAL SYSTEM™ using virtual reality and cross-device metaverse technologies. These innovations enable patients to video-chat while sharing virtual trips around the globe using REAL CONNECT™ and REAL REMOTE™.

In August 2024, we were happy to receive communication from Penumbra about a patent issued for the innovative REAL CONNECT™ feature.

The i-Series™ platform is a first-to-market, innovation-packed virtual reality (VR) software toolkit and communication system that provides one-to-one, real-time video and audio communication to share immersive experiences like never before. 

Users wear a virtual reality headset and control the system using voice commands and head movements to be virtually transported around the world, play games, and share activities. Friends and family can join using a Mac or Windows computer to have a shared experience and even control what is being seen in the virtual reality headset. The i-Series is currently used by the United States Veterans Administration, hospitals, and clinics across the entire country.
